The CONEM Metallomics Nanomedicine Research Group (CMNRG), under the leadership of Prof. Kizek, was established in August 2017. It is a group at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno, Faculty of Pharmacy, Brno, Czech Republic. The aim of CMNRG is research and information activities related to biotechnology and nanomedicine, the study of thiol compounds, metallothioneins, phytochelatins, glutathione, and the influence of heavy metal ions, such as zinc and cadmium in organisms.
